Reloj automático
Unter einer Automatikuhr wird eine mechanische Armbanduhr verstanden, bei der die Feder bei Armbewegungen des Trägers durch einen Rotor in kleinen Schritten selbständig aufgezogen wird.
Der Rotor, der zumeist kugelgelagert ist, bleibt bei Bewegungen des Uhrgehäuses aufgrund seiner Massenträgheit und der Schwerkraft im Raum stehen. Hierdurch wird ein Drehmoment auf den Aufziehmechanismus ausgeübt. Typischerweise wird die Feder bei beiden Drehrichtungen (bidirektional) aufgezogen.
