Batteriegesetzhinweise
Battery Act Notice – even though we mostly tick mechanically
We’re famous for watches that run without batteries – but every now and then, a quartz model sneaks into our range. And since the law makes no exception for rare cases, here’s the official statement:
As a retailer, we are legally obliged to inform you that batteries and rechargeable cells must not be disposed of in household waste. You can return them free of charge to municipal collection points or anywhere batteries are sold. Naturally, we also take your used batteries back – simply send them, sufficiently stamped, to:
Russische Sammleruhren e.K.Juri Levenberg
Marsstraße 21
80335 Munich
Germany
Batteries containing harmful substances are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out wheelie bin, sometimes accompanied by chemical symbols such as “Cd” (cadmium), “Hg” (mercury) or “Pb” (lead). Yes, it sounds technical – because it is.
PS: If you prefer a watch without a battery – we have plenty of those.
