The glazed case back gives a clear view of a veritable pocket watch movement with decorated movement bridges / cocks and blued movement screws. A large and correspondingly insensitive balance wheel swings at a comfortable 18,000 semi-oscillations per hour and the escape wheel, whose height clearance is limited by a cover plate, turns under a separate cock. Despite the impressive size of 44 mm in diameter and 13 mm in height, the stainless steel case fits comfortably around the wrist.

MOLNIJA 3603
The Molnija 3603, which was produced for almost fifty years, between 1960 and 2008.
It goes back to the Cortebert 616 produced in Switzerland in the 30s / 40s, the machines of which were probably then sold to Russia.
In the course of time, this work has been modified several times, above all the construction height has increased by over a millimeter, and the decoration became more and more economical, until at the end almost no decorative cuts or other decorations were applied.
