The elaborately designed housing shape seems to borrow from aircraft construction. If you look at the screwed nameplate and the sides of the housing, a comparison with a flying machine is obvious. Nevertheless, not only aviation enthusiasts will enjoy this sight. The dial is very clearly laid out. The BURAN logo can be seen in the upper half of the dial.
