The manufacturer: The Russian still in production today Vostok watch factory has a long and interesting history. This begins in 1941 when the German army invaded Russia. Facilities and equipment of the 2nd Moscow watch factory were moved to approx. Chistopol, 800 km from Moscow, relocated. Like other technical products, clocks were among the precision instruments essential to the war effort.
